During the review of preliminary engineering plans for track, roadway, sidewalks and other facilities related to construction, Alcantar and Associates provided assistance and general civil design support, including:

• Designing, detailing and preparing drawings and specifications for the demolition plans, and coordinating the resolution of conflict issues between preexisting and proposed conditions for utilities, buildings, wall and trees, among others.
  
  
  
• Alcantar and Associates also performed all engineering work required to complete the line section demolition plans, including a formal design review, QA/QC and Cost Estimating.
  
  
• Assisting in the street and track design for the vertical and horizontal alignment.
  
  
• Performing site design work, including the design and coordination of appropriate transitions, such as walls, grading, parking lot layout and striping to conform adjacent areas and to meet local jurisdiction requirements.  We also designed building entrances and driveways, and maintained communication with Tri-Met’s community relations personnel regarding changes on affected properties during the process.
  
  
• Providing QA/AC support for associated calculations related to storm and curb returns.
  
  
• Designing, detailing and preparing drawings and specifications for the demolition plans, including the resolution of conflict issues between preexisting and proposed conditions for utilities, buildings, wall and trees, among others.
  
  
• Performing all engineering work required to complete design and preparation of line section construction documents, such as providing drafting support, formal design review, QA/QC, and Cost Estimating.
