Stormwater Management

Alcantar and Associates performed the Stormwater Analysis for Bridges: 0773A, Highway 1 and Foley Lane, 08540B, Bear Creek Bridge, and 08540A Upton Road over Highway 1.  Our responsibilities included:

- Preparing a Stormwater Management Plan for all bridges.  This entailed developing a hydrologic analysis, evaluating preexisting drainage conditions, reporting the findings and recommending up to three alternative methods to remedy the deficient drainage.

- Water quality mitigation, pertaining to proper collection and treatment of stormwater runoff from the new bridge and associated roadway.  This task entailed developing conceptual designs for peak flows using two methods for review.

- Preparing Final Cost estimate and Stormwater Facility Operation and Maintenance Manuals for the project.
