As a sub consultant to URS, Alcantar and Associates was lead designer for Conceptual Engineering Support, the 404 Permit Pre-Application/Application processes and provided Preliminary Engineering for Approved Option (West of Beltline). Our responsibilities included:
Conceptual Engineering:
· Preparing conceptual (approximately ten-percent design level) engineering drawings illustrating the provision of property access points for short, medium and long-term access management strategies.
· Preparing capital cost estimates for illustrating the provision of property access points for short, medium and long-term access management strategies.
· Revising the project’s preexisting engineering design to reflect the draft and final IAMP/AMP.
404 Permit Pre-Application/Application Processes:
· Preparing conceptual engineering drawings to approximately ten-percent design level, illustrating alternatives and options selected in the 404 permit pre-application processes.
· Preparing order-of-magnitude capital cost estimates for the alternatives and options selected for this sub-task.
· Revising the project’s conceptual engineering design to reflect the pre-application and application alternatives analyses and assisting in the coordination of changes to project design with other project analyses.
Preliminary Design for Approved Option (West of Beltline)
· Designing approved alignment to meet current ODOT standards
· Developing plan and profile sheets for inclusion plan set. |
