Alcantar and Associates provides professional Surveying Services on a wide variety of projects.  Our expertise with Utility Coordination through several City and Municipal agencies enhances our surveying capabilities.
 
All field survey work performed by Alcantar and Associates is conducted according to agency and industry standards and we utilize the statewide “one-call” utility notification system.
 

Our expertise includes:

* Topographic Surveys and Property Surveys with monumentation, including developing a 3-D Digital Terrain Model to establish the configuration of the ground and the location of natural and man made objects.  We also collect confidence points over the digital terrain model in accordance with the agency’s most current standards

* Highway Projects requiring topographic surveys with DTM

* Stream Surveys for hydraulic studies

* Performing data research to prepare for and support all project activities, and producing project maps and reports, including:

   + Road maps, topographical and quadrangle maps, aerial photographs, weather data and stream data

   + Agency right-of-way maps and old survey notes

   + Research Property deeds and recorded surveys

   + Horizontal and vertical controls (including benchmarks, geodetic stations, prior control surveys) from sources including Agency, Federal, Country, City and other state agencies

   + Establishing terrestrial control network points according to agency standards as provided in agency right-of-way monumentation policy

   + Setting Survey Control Points to tie (survey) the found monuments

   + Contacting property owners for access permission when necessary
