Our expertise includes:

• Maintaining daily reports, managing change orders, mobilizations, lump sum payouts, percentage payouts, job-site material verifications and inspections, and wage verifications.

• Maintaining regular, effective communication with the Client’s project manager. 

• Inspecting and monitoring concrete curb and sidewalk placement, rock excavation, embankment in place, and storm pipe placement.

• Monitoring placement of non-reinforced and reinforced concrete, corrugated steel, aluminum and polyethylene drainage pipes. 

• Verifying and monitoring placement of plants, shrubs, and trees. 

• Monitoring concrete placement and mix design per placement.

• Inspecting reinforced steel placed for retaining walls, bridge abutment, bridge curbs, bridge decks, structural columns, under pass angled slabs, wing walls, and flatwork.  Also: beams and girders, approach slabs, roadway slabs, ramp railings, and approach road rails.

Based on our significant engineering and surveying experience, Alcantar and Associates’ future growth is directed toward Highway and Street Construction Services (NAICS Code 237310).  We have received our CCB license and actively seek opportunities in this area.
